A beautiful side of Haiti

We spent a wonderful day going up the mountain to Pine Forest
with the last Cornerstone team.
It started raining and here we are under the tarp. Glad somebody was
thinkin' and brought it along :)
On the way up to Pine Forest we stopped at some friends house in
Fond Varrette
We were inspired by their wonderful hospitality and we
enjoyed Haitian spaghetti and coffee served by them.
Yonell and his madanm (above)
and some of their children.
Lots of breathtaking views as we traveled up the mountain
We visited some gardens and dug potatoes to take home and ate
some sugar snap peas  from these beautiful plants. We also got to
bring home a large bag of avacadoes -yum!
Good-bye to our friends: Brad and Crystal, Josie, Rod and Janet,
Aaron, Dorothy and children, Caleb, Nicole, Bart and Lisa and especially
to Josh and Kari that spent 2 months with us

Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

The Haitian children like to have their photo taken

Here are some of the little "machins" that the boys made,
they will be sold at the auction.
